Testimonials
“The QSH server was an actual miracle for me to find. It provided me with so many resources I could not otherwise receive on my own. On top of that the community and quick responses to my queries were invaluable. My only wish is that I had discovered it prior to my externals exam period so I could have made use of the resources all through out year 11 and 12. I would (and have) definitely recommend it to my peers.”

The Queensland Study Hub has truly supported me through Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Physics, and Engineering. When I was in Year 12, I knew I needed more than just textbooks to succeed – I needed a community that could offer guidance and support during those late-night study sessions. The Queensland Study Hub was that and more.
Not only did it provide access to comprehensive resources for each of my subjects, but the community was the real game-changer. It felt like I wasn’t alone in my struggles. The platform allowed me to connect with other students who were going through the same challenges. The forums and discussion groups became a place where I could share ideas, clarify concepts, and even get moral support when the pressure of exams was getting to me.
Having a space where I could ask questions, participate in group study sessions, and even get insights from others who were excelling in subjects I found difficult made all the difference. It kept me motivated and focused, knowing that I had a network of like-minded students pushing for the same goal: success. With the Queensland Study Hub, I didn’t just get through my exams—I thrived.
I would recommend the Queensland Study Hub to any Year 12 student looking for that extra support, whether it’s academic or emotional. It truly made my Year 12 experience a lot less stressful and much more manageable. It’s more than just a study tool—it’s a community and a lifeline for anyone determined to succeed. What Ollie has created was my game changer, I hope others continue to grow among the QSH community!

“Honestly after finding the Queensland Study Hub I didn't use it much but after looking into the resources they had, it was game changing. The free masterclasses are very helpful with refreshing my memory and everyone's really nice! Other than a few trollers, but that's to be expected on a discord server of this scale. I can't thank you enough for making the server. I think it actually saved my grades.”

“The Queensland Study Hub completely changed the way I studied for my externals. With endless practice papers and advice from other students, it really helped me excel. The Queensland Study Hub also helped me learn how to teach myself and use other like-minded students to learn, rather than constantly having to rely on busy and stressed teachers. I truly recommend QSH as it helped me achieve an incredible ATAR and entrance into my desired course.”

QSH is so helpful, experienced students taking their time to actually help you with whatever question you have to the lovely mentors who'd happily teach, I would say QSH is one of the greatest student resources I have seen! :D"

"The Queensland Study Hub fosters and upholds a strong sense of community that you can't find anywhere else. It was good being able to talk to people across the state who did the same subjects as me while we shared learning material and advice with each other. Additionally, the support from the mentors and staff was great. I highly recommend joining the community."

"The Queensland study hub was great during external prep especially. All the practice papers and resources collaborated by all the students who were kind enough to share resources was super helpful to all of us. Additionally just talking to others going through the same exams was great. Can't recommend this enough for others looking for support during Year 12."

“Queensland Study Hub has been such an amazing community and resource for my senior year and external exams. I was lucky enough to find out about this amazing asset before my externals and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Not only were there several volunteer past students hosting masterclasses for majority of my subjects, but likeminded motivated students to support everyone else. The google drives with countless past exams were also super amazing. I recommend to anybody and everybody in grade 12!”

“The Queensland Study Hub has been incredible helpful as a year 12 student. I heard about it from a study YouTuber and joining the Discord server has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. It allows students to connect with others studying the same subjects, while also gaining access to study resources for assessments that we would normally not have access to. Plus, it’s all free! It’s been invaluable to my study journey as a senior and I love the community of learners and high achievers that I have become a part of.”

"It’s a great experience assisting upcoming seniors with topics that they have issues with, whilst also spending time preparing and giving resources to others with similar problems. Additionally, although I am in my first year in my Bachelor of Engineering, I can still get assistance from other 2022 graduates following the same pathway as me. The community is extremely close, even though most of us haven't previously interacted with each other before joining the QSH. It is definitely an honour to be part of this community as well as being one of the helpers that make the lives of up-and-coming seniors significantly easier."
TJ R - First Year Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Student, Griffith University
“The Queensland Study Hub was a fantastic and friendly environment where I could learn, talk and form a community with other like-minded students across Queensland. The server helped me with many academic-related questions, ultimately aiding me in doing incredibly well in Grade 12 assessments. The community is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and as a result I've also made lasting friendships with fellow students. It's an understatement to say the support provided by the server is incredible, it's far more valuable than I could have ever imagined! I highly recommend it to any other students who need help, or are aiming for a high ATAR!”

Nate M - Y12 (Class of 2023), Helensvale State High School
“The Queensland Study Hub helped me through preparation for external exams, as there was always online students that led reliable support services to explain or verify solutions to questions. Additionally, there were tons of crowd-sourced practice resources available that gave me exposure to questions that are not found in workbooks or past exams.”
Thirunanthanan T – First Year Engineering and Computer Science Student, The University of Queensland
“This resource responds to changing educational trends and encourages increased engagement with learning that is led by students for students. Post-Covid, many students’ have developed their ability to work in a self-directed manner utilising online resources and peer to peer learning is proven to be effective for many students, the Queensland Study Hub capitalises on both trends. This platform has the potential to support many Queensland high school students across a range of subject areas.”
Ben Weeks, Principal – Robina State High School
“The Queensland Study Hub takes advantage of three elements that are crucial to genuine learning. The first is that the person learning needs to have agency in the process; second, one of the best ways to learn is to explain what you know to someone else; third, collaborating within a group facilitates learning. Combining these three elements into a community of students is great design. Participating in QSH will be an important addition to more formal learning processes.”
